Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
Please read these Terms carefully before using ProxyLens. They cover how the service may be used, how subscriptions and seats are billed, and what we do with the traffic that passes through your domains.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of them, you may not use the service.
2. Accounts and teams
Resources belong to an account, not to an individual. An account is created for you when you sign up, and becomes a team when further members are added. Domains, tunnels, API tokens and recorded flows belong to the account, so any member may use them and any member's API token can serve the account's domains.
Members hold one of three roles. The owner controls billing and membership and cannot be removed. An admin may manage domains, tokens and members. A member may use domains and view traffic. You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
When a member is removed, their access ends immediately and any API tokens they created are revoked. Resources they created remain with the account.
3. Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed at a flat monthly price that includes a set number of team members. Members are not billed individually: the price is the same whether or not every included place is filled, and an account receives a single invoice.
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, who act as merchant of record and handle applicable taxes. Prices shown on our site reflect the price configured with our payment provider at the time you view the page.
4. Changes to a team mid-period
Adding a member takes effect immediately and costs nothing extra, up to the number of members your plan includes. Once that number is reached, a further member requires moving to a plan that includes more.
Removing a member ends that person's access immediately and frees their place for someone else straight away. Because members are not billed individually, no charge is added or refunded either way, and the account's usage allowance is unaffected.
5. Usage limits and additional usage
Plans include an allowance of requests and bandwidth, pooled across the whole account. The allowance does not vary with the number of members.
On plans described as including additional usage, the included allowance is a threshold rather than a cap: usage beyond it is measured and billed monthly in arrears at the rates shown on our pricing page, and the current period's additional usage is visible on your billing page at any time. On all other plans the allowance is a limit, and no additional usage is billed. Allowances reset at the start of each billing period.
WebSocket traffic is metered at a rate of twenty messages to one request. Bandwidth is counted in full in both directions.
On free plans, traffic is refused once an allowance is exhausted. On paid plans we will notify you as you approach a limit rather than interrupting your traffic, and reserve the right to refuse traffic significantly beyond it. Usage counts are aggregated and may lag actual traffic slightly; they are intended for allowance management rather than as an exact record.
6. Acceptable use of proxying
A tunnel or hosted proxy serves your content from a ProxyLens domain, under our name and TLS certificate. You may therefore only proxy targets that you own or are authorised to serve.
You must not use the service to distribute malware, run phishing or other deceptive sites, infringe copyright, conduct denial-of-service or unauthorised security testing against third parties, or proxy traffic in breach of any applicable law. Hosted proxy targets must be publicly reachable addresses; private, loopback and link-local addresses are refused.
We may suspend a domain or an account immediately, without notice, where we reasonably believe this clause has been breached.
7. Your traffic data
To let you inspect traffic, we hold recent request and WebSocket payloads transiently in memory and stream them to any inspector you have open. These payloads are not stored durably; they are discarded when a tunnel session ends or falls idle, and cannot be recovered afterwards.
We do retain metadata about traffic — timestamps, methods, paths, status codes, durations, sizes and connection lifecycle — so that recent activity remains visible in your dashboard. Flows you explicitly save are stored until you delete them.
You are responsible for what passes through your domains. Do not route data through the service that you are not permitted to disclose to a processor.
8. Availability and changes
The service is provided without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We may change plan prices or included allowances; where a change increases what you pay, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect at your next renewal.
9. Suspension and termination
You may cancel at any time; your subscription then runs to the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, for non-payment, or where required by law. On termination, domains stop serving traffic and account data may be deleted.
10. Intellectual property
The service and its original content, features and functionality remain the exclusive property of ProxyLens and its licensors. Nothing here transfers any right in the content you proxy, which remains yours.
